I have
been breeding, showing, and training WHITE SHEPHERDS for over 20 years
now, and have learned how to train several
dogs at a time to live together peaceably. I have put several titles on many dogs such as Rally, Obedience and Canine Good Citizen (CGC). I have put champion and grand champion titles on about 15 dogs. I have worked with dogs on obedience competitions, and herding. I also have temperament tested many dogs.

During that 20 years, I have gone to training at many different places,
they all used different methods, some good and some not, but they all
used force in one way or another. I have now completed a training
program that uses POSTIIVE RENINFORCEMENT TRAINING METHODS and
have found these methods to be the most successful with different types
of dogs and their different
personalities.
How rewarding and fun it is to watch dogs and puppies change and become the fantastic family pet that I know they can become.
Let me put my
experience to work to help you with your pet. In-home lesson
plans with meetings in parks or stores or even just in the privacy of
your home. What ever works best for your situation.
Reasonable rates designed to help you help your dog with sitting, down, jumping on
people, greetings at the door.

One thing I have learned is not to hire dog trainers because of convenience. Beware of corporations offering dog training. They hire anyone. One local pet store hire unemployed insurance salesman and people convicted of child abuse to work as dog trainers.
You need a dog trainer who has experience, training, and the know how to do the job.

HIRE A PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER.
I do not believe in the use of pinch collars. If you use pain, are you training or forcing your dog? It amazes me how some people send their dogs out to be trained and then expect things to be different at home. Training is working together so the dog understands your rules -- working together as a team.

Since
all of my dogs have their CGC and I believe in the worth of this
certificate, I have become an evaluator for Canine Good Citizen.
Canine Good Citizen, or CGC as it is
commonly called, is a test for family dogs. It represents
everyday
type of events, in a test form where you can receive a certificate when
it has been passed. See the AKC web site for
exact steps in
this test.
Every dog can be
a Canine Good Citizen
and I encourage each and
every family to accomplish this certificate for
themselves and their dog. I
would like to help you or your organization do this. If you have an event that requires a CGC
evaluator, I would be happy to
work with your group in performing as your evaluator.
