Dog Fancy Magazine, Dog World Magazine, and Whole Dog Journal have had
articles printed in 2009 about the benefits of Pet Massage and Energy
work (Reiki) for dogs in all walks of life. Age related
issues, weekend warrior type of dogs, agility dogs, and working dogs.
can all benefit from a professional PET MASSAGE. Pet Massage
techniques are gentle and effective; it works with the
body, not on it, by manipulation of muscles and skin to promote
increased circulation to all the organs and tissues in the
body.
Therapeutic massage is recognized as one of the primary forms of
‘hands-on healing’ the world over, with most
cultures
having developed specific techniques for this purpose, both therapeutic
and pleasurable.
I am helping several different animals in serious situations; let me
help your fur kid.
REIKI
I would like to help you understand the body’s response while
I
provide Energy-Medicine and massage for your Fur Kid. As a Reiki Master, I listen to what their bodies tell me and apply energy to the places that they ask for extra support
All
of this helps to support the body to heal itself.

If you have a family dog who loves to play ball with you and goes to great lengths to get that ball as Apollo (above) does, then plan to keep your dog healthy with a professional massage once a month. This will help your dog to live longer more comfortably.
YOUNG LIVING OILS
This little dog has problems with his L 7 vertebrae and suffers from a condition commonly known as dead tail. I used Young Living Oil and a Raindrop treatment at his first massage. You wouldn't believe the difference. Dogs let their true self shine thru when they aren't in pain any more. This little guy now has his tail up and wagging -- he is running around the house. It is so rewarding to watch them feel good again.
I am a CERTIFIED CANINE MASSAGE PROVIDER. I am a member of
IAAMB International
Association of Animal Massage and Bodyworkers. I also am American Red Cross Pet First Aid certified. I work with your
VETS, not against them, to help your animal. As a Reiki Master, I apply Reiki energy to their massage for added bonus to their massage.
During a massage I intuitively know where the dog's body needs the most help so that is the area where I spend more of my time and energy. As a Reiki Master, I also can balance the chakras.
All this gives their body deeper and longer-lasting results from their massages.
Canine Foot Reflexology also provides amazing results. Dogs know when I am trying to help and their instinct is to stop and let the energy flow in. This happens when I find just the right spot during a massage. It is so easy to incorporate Canine Foot Reflexology into a massage and I am happy to help your FUR kids in any way I can.
DOG SHOW PET MASSAGE BOOTH

I have offered Pet Massage to Bulldogs at the Indiana Central Bulldog club shows the last couple of years. This breed is a very enjoyable breed to deal with and as with any dog have their own set of problems. I massaged Winners Dog at the 2010 show and the Winners Bitch at the 2009 show. A comfortable massage with Peace and Calming oil applied during their massages helped both of these dogs to settle down and relax for the show. This oil is part of Young Living Oils selection that I use and sell at each event I attend.
Several dogs I have massaged at a show have gone on to take their class, Winners Dog or Winners Bitch and also to take their Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex, or Best of Winners and even take a Group 3rd placing.
I have helped several different breeds at different shows go on to win their BOB or BOS or even a Group 3.
MASSAGE HELPS DOGS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

This cute little boy, above, is Nemo. The sweet little pup was missing a leg -- he was born with a stump where one of his legs should have been. Before Nemo could find a home, he needed to have the stump removed. I had the pleasure of helping him with a massage before the surgery to remove the stump. Nemo did Exceptionally well during the surgery and went on to find a forever home shortly there after. He is one of those animals who never knows he has been damaged because in his mind we were all the ones with the problem.
MASSAGE HELPS AGING DOGS

Maggie, left, struggled in her later years. Massage therapy helped her - it gave her some quality of life and comfort as she aged. Massage therapy can help animals with end of life issues.

Robbie enjoyed massages all during the last years of his life. His final years were made more comfortable through pet massage.
I was honored to help him and his owner.
